On Monday the third child of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince Louis will be christened at the Chapel Royal in St. James Palace at 04:00 PM by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby.
The young Prince will be wearing the replica of the original Honiton lace and satin royal christening robe made by Queen’s head designer Angela Kelly in 2008. Since giving birth to her third child Duchess was seen only handful of times during on and off duty. No doubt the royal watchers and Kate fans are eagerly waiting to see Kate once again.
On the christening of her elder kids both times Duchess of Cambridge chose her trusty label Alexander McQueen. The head designer of the label Sarah Burton designed custom pieces for Kate.
For Prince George’s Christening Kate wore an ivory Alexander McQueen dress. The ivory piece is from the Spring/Summer 2012 Collection and described as a leaf crepe jacket with wave ruffle panel, jacket has rounded padded shoulders and silk lining.
The dress is believed to be the custom version of this design.
Duchess paired the outfit with Georgie Hat from one of her go to milliners Jane Taylor Millinery. The name of the hat suited the occasion very well. The beautiful and elegant sinamay beret features a delicate silk and organza rose and classic veiling trim.
Kate chose Russell and Bromley Park Ave pumps and Kiki McDonough Citrine Drop earrings with Gucci watch.
In 2015 Duchess chose a bespoke Alexander McQueen cream coat dress for the christening of her daughter Princess Charlotte.
The gorgeous piece features a fit and flare design with lapel neckline.
Once again Duchess paired the outfit with cream hat by milliner Jane Taylor. The hat is believed to be a bespoke piece from the millinery.
Kate was wearing Russell & Bromley shoes and finished her look with Mappin & Webb Empress “Empress Drop Earrings and Pendant”.
I believe this time once again we will see Duchess keeping up with her almost traditional christening outfits. It will be another beautiful and elegant Alexander McQueen outfit.
Last week I put together few outfit suggestions that could have been chosen as a royal christening outfit. Have a look at the suggestions.
Stay tuned to see what Kate will bring this time on Monday to stun the royal fashion world.
